Yulia Draginda is a concert organist, pianist and chamber music partner. She graduated from the Tschaikowsky conservatory with Diploma cum laude (Organ, Prof. A. Semionov) and from the Gnessin academy (Piano,Prof. Oleg Boschniakovich, then Prof. Juri Smirnov-Tverskoj). She  continued her music education at the Stuttgart High School of Music and Theatre with Prof. Ludger Lohmann (organ) and David Franke (organ improvisation). At the same time she graduated in 2013 from the post-graduate course (Aspirantur) at the Tschaikowsky conservatory (Research subject „Organ music of Max Reger and the late-romantic German organ school“). Afterwards she studied with Prof. Martin Sander at the Basel Hight School of Music in Switzerland, where she excellent fulfilled in 2015 the final exam as a Concert Artist, as well as got the prize for the best Organ recital. She is currently a Doctorate Student at McGill University (Montreal, Canada, Prof. Hans-Ola Ericsson). Since 1997 she has received many prizes and awards at the international piano and organ competitions, performed on the famous festivals. Her concert activity led her through the Russian cities, then to Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Poland and Canada. Among others, she worked together with Basel symphony orchestra (Switzerland), symphony orchestra and choir of the "Helicon"-Theatre (Moscow, Russia), brass player's ensemble under the direction of Wolfgang Bauer (Stuttgart, Germany), jazz orchestra "VolgaOrchestra" (Volgograd, Russia), baroque ensemble "Alta Capella" (Moscow, Russia). Yulia Draginda has an extensive concert repertoire from the Renaissance until the 21st century, with the main focus on the German romanticism and Contemporary Music. She made several TV and radio recordings.

 

Yulia Draginda ist auf vielfältige Weise als Konzertorganistin, Pianistin, Kammermusikpartnerin in der internationalen Musikszene präsent. Das Musikstudium  absolvierte sie mit Auszeichnung in ihrer Heimatstadt Moskau am Tschaikowsky Konservatorium im Fach Orgel bei Prof. Alexey Semionov und an der Gnessin Akademie im Fach Klavier zunächst bei Prof. Oleg Boschniakovich, dann bei Prof. Juri Smirnov-Tverskoj. An der Stuttgarter Musikhochschule setzte sie ihre Ausbildung für Orgel und Orgelimprovisation bei Prof. Ludger Lohmann und David Franke fort. Gleichzeitig absolvierte sie 2013 die Auspirantur am  Tschaikowsky Konservatorium mit ihrer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit über das Thema „Orgelmusik Max Regers und Spätromantische deutsche Orgelschule“. Anschließend studierte sie bei Prof. Martin Sander an der Basler Hochschule für Musik in der Schweiz und im Jahr 2015 legte sie das Konzertexamen mit Auszeichnung ab, sowie bekam den Preis für das beste Orgelrezital. Momentan promoviert sie an der McGill Universität in Montreal, Kanada (Klasse Prof. Hans-Ola Ericsson). Seit 1997 erwarb sie viele Preise und Auszeichnungen bei internationalen Klavier- und Orgelwettbewerben, trat bei renommierten Festivals auf. Ihre Konzerttätigkeit führte sie durch das ganze Russland, nach Deutschland, Schweiz, Spanien, Italien und Polen, u.a. arbeitete sie mit dem Sinfonieorchester Basel (Schweiz), Sinfonieorchester und Chor des Theaters „Helicon“ (Moskau, Russland), Blechbläserensemble unter der Leitung von Wolfgang Bauer (Stuttgart, Deutschland), Jazzorchester „VolgaOrchestra“ (Volgograd, Russland), Barockensemble „Alta Capella“ (Moskau, Russland) zusammen. Yulia Draginda hat ein umfangreiches Konzertrepertoire von der Renaissance bis zum XXI.Jahrhundert, mit dem Schwerpunkt Deutsche Romantik und Neue Musik. Es entstanden TV- und Rundfunkaufnahmen.
